Nurse discovers sweet hidden messages on bags of tube feed

During these trying times when hospitals are often overcrowded and understaffed, nurses and doctors appreciate every act of kindness, no matter how big or small.

Case in point: Recently, a nurse took to Reddit’s r/aww subreddit to share the “hidden messages” that made them “tear up” on a “pretty s***** day.”

“Today I found these hidden messages while checking the expiration dates on bags of tube feed,” the nurse wrote under the username slothurknee.

As a way of saying thank you for everything essential workers are doing right now, the company that manufactures the tube feed went out of its way to print messages of thanks and appreciation on the bags.

“We appreciate and believe in you. Never give up,” one message reads.

“You are a hero and an inspiration. We are with you,” another says.

In a follow-up comment, slothurknee said that the small gesture completely turned their day around.

“I never thought a bag of tube feed would make me tear up but here we are,” they wrote. “Really brightened up my (pretty s*****) day.”

“It’s been a crazy few months but things like this help make it some how still great,” they added.

Commenters were equally moved by the messages.

“That’s amazing,” one person said. “It’s always the little things that makes the big difference.”

“This made me happy cry,” another user added.

“Those wee bags speak the truth!” a third person noted.
