I never thought much about bedsheets. Seriously, who does? However, Oprah put Cozy Earth’s Bamboo Sheets on her “Favorite Things List” in 2018 and called them “the softest bedding ever.” Of course, the queen knows best, so I had to try them.

Personally, I’ve tried microfiber, jersey and high-thread-count TENCEL sheets before, so I figured, how much softer could these Oprah-approved sheets be? Well, the answer is extremely soft — it’s almost indescribable.

Yes, it sounds crazy to be this excited about sheets, but the hype is real. Slipping into bed with Cozy Earth’s sheets is almost like jumping into a pool on a hot summer day. It’s softer than your skin feels after using a luxurious bath bomb. It’s even softer than your favorite faux fur throw blanket. Simply put, these sheets are luxurious.

Comparatively, some other types of soft sheets, like jersey sheets, aren’t that durable. They fade, stretch and can even feel kind of hot. However, the Cozy Earth Bamboo Sheets are made with responsibly sourced 100% viscose from bamboo (i.e., they’re good for the planet). They’re also stain-resistant, hypoallergenic, temperature regulating and, of course, machine washable.

Beyond their softness, another great reason to try these sheets is the temperature regulation. According to the product description, the fabric is breathable and moisture-wicking, so you’ll sleep two to three degrees cooler and won’t wake up sweating in the middle of the night. I can attest to this, especially as someone who sleeps next to an old radiator that I can’t control in a New York City apartment.

If you try the sheets and decide you don’t like them, Cozy Earth allows you to return them within 100 days for a full refund. However, they’re so confident you will like them and that they’ll last, the sheets come with a 10-year warranty.

Recently, I purchased a larger mattress, which means I need to get more of these sheets. However, I actually grappled with the idea of keeping my smaller mattress just so I could keep my original sheets. Alas, now is a good time to buy more because Cozy Earth is having a sale.

No lie, Cozy Earth’s Bamboo Sheets are pricey — they typically start at $319 for the twin size. However, Cozy Earth is currently hosting a Valentine’s Day sale, and you can save up to 25% across the entire site.

Again, who knew sheets could be this exciting? Not me! But now I’m hooked, and prepare yourself because after one great night’s sleep, you will be too.
