I like to separate my life into two parts: BW and AW. That’s Before the Waffle and After the Waffle. And I’m not talking about breakfast. I’m talking about a bathrobe. Specifically, the wildly popular Parachute Waffle Robe.

Here’s the thing, I was never a “robe” person per se. I’ve been gifted robes throughout my life but, honestly, always found myself getting rid of them after about a year or so of minimal wear. And then came the Waffle Robe, the only robe that I 1) willingly purchased with my own cash and 2) made me ditch my oversized cardigans.

Obviously, the main drawback of the Waffle Robe is its price. At nearly $130, it’s definitely on the splurgier end of the self-care budget.

I’ve tried a lot of robes in my many, many (read: 27) years of life. Trust me, the quality is worth it. I’ve worn this every day (and every season!) since I bought it over two years ago—and I’m still taking the time to write a whole freakin’ article trying to convince you that you’re worthy of this luxurious robe.

Plus, my cost per wear is like $0.02 right now and getting lower. Yes, I am wearing my robe now.

The Parachute Waffle Robe is gender-neutral and available in four calming colors. I grabbed the tan to match my towels but have had my eye on the Terra since it came out. A random summer gift for me from myself, perhaps? A girl can never have too many robes…

But in all seriousness, the first time I used this after a shower, it felt like a second skin. The 100% long-staple Turkish cotton material kept me warm post-shower and was oh-so luxurious—especially as I plopped on an eye mask and got started on my skin care routine. Was I at the Four Seasons in Maui getting ready for a massage or was I listening to the radiator loudly clink in my small New York City bathroom? Thanks to the Waffle Robe, I’ll never know.

And I’m not the only one singing its praises! Shoppers truly cannot get enough of the cult-favorite brand’s lightweight robe. “I didn’t know I had been looking for this robe all of my life,” wrote one very satisfied Waffle Robe owner. Same, faceless reviewer. Same.

Before I send you on your merry way to buy your very own Parachute Waffle Robe, I’m going to let you in on one more secret about it: It’s the easiest thing to wash. All you need to do is stick it in the washing machine with your regular cool load and then plop it in the dryer on low. A real win for all of us lazy, lounging, wannabe-royalty.
