Paul Butcher portrayed the wise-cracking tween on Zoey 101. Now, the 26-year-old is taking TikTok by storm with his not-so-PG-13 thirst traps.
Here’s what you need to know about the actor-turned-TikToker.
Who is Paul Butcher?
Butcher was born on Feb. 14, 1994. His father is Paul Butcher Sr., a former linebacker for the NFL. His aunt is Mary Lou Butcher, a noted news reporter for the Detroit press in the 1960s. He graduated from UCLA, where he was a member of the Zeta Beta Tau fraternity.
Butcher made his acting debut when he appeared in an episode of The Bernie Mac Show at age 7. However, his breakout performance was on Zoey 101, where he played the titular character’s younger brother Dustin Brooks.
The 26-year-old is also a musician. He has released several singles including “Don’t Go,” “Stop Calling” and, most recently, “Freaky.”
What does Butcher do on TikTok?
Despite being the cute kid we grew up with on Nickelodeon, Butcher has a reputation for being a racy TikToker.
In one video, he made the bold suggestion that women act like they want flowers and candy but really want to be, um, choked and handcuffed (consensually, of course).
In another clip, Butcher lip-synced to a “WAP” remix while handcuffed in the shower, naked.
TikTokers have had a mixed response to Butcher’s racy online persona.
“I’m pretty sure I’m watching the wrong episode of Zoey 101,” one user commented.
“I have reached Nick at Nite,” another joked.
Fortunately, Butcher doesn’t only do his best Christian Grey impressions on TikTok.
