Here’s a sentence I never thought I’d say: Pete Davidson made me really want a Dustbuster.

In a promo for his Netflix special Pete Davidson: Alive From New York, the SNL cast member showed off his apartment — which is in the basement of his mom’s house. There’s a surprising amount of SpongeBob memorabilia and a plastic alien named Kevin inside, which is somewhat predictable for a quirky 26-year-old bachelor. But what isn’t predictable is how the tour quickly turns into an informal infomercial for Black and Decker’s iconic Dustbuster.

“Let me show you my favorite thing I have in here,” he says, picking up the home tool. “This is called a Dustbuster, and it scoops up dirt. But like little dirt, ya know?”

That’s about the best description of a Dustbuster I’ve ever heard. Pete then proceeds to flick the ashes from his blunt on to the kitchen counter, turning on the Dustbuster to quickly scoop them up.

“How f*ckin’ sick is that s*it?” he laughs. “That s*it is so sick.”

It is pretty sick. The version Davidson has is under $60 and can hold a four-hour charge, which is a whole lot of dust busting. The nozzle also rotates 180 degrees, and the “dirt bowl” is washable. All in all, it’s a pretty quality Dustbuster. It’s also quite pretty in a light blue color.
