During the holidays, it can seem like the shopping receipts stack a mile high.
However, I really believe that buying nice, quality gifts doesn’t have to cost a lot of money. Believe it or not, you can find products under $25 at department stores. To prove it to you, I decided to do a bit of retail shopping on Nordstrom and challenge myself not to buy anything that was more more than $25. Here are the affordable products I purchased, all of which I highly recommend:
Shop: Illume Elemental Lidded Ceramic Candle, $24.90 (Orig. $42)
What it is: A fragrant candle presented in an elegant, earthy vessel with a matching lid. This candle features a wax base made of 100 percent naturally-derived waxes and oil for a clean, even burn.
Shop: All in Favor Phoebe V-Neck Midi Dress, $24.50 (Orig. $49)
What it is: A midi dress with side slits made of a plissé fabric and a twist detail at the waistline. It’s super flattering and I love that I can dress it up with heels and earrings or keep it more casual with flats.
Shop: Nordstrom Terrazzo & Marble Round Serving Board, $23.40 (Orig. $39)
Shop: Mytagalongs Roadtrip Smart Kit, $10
What it is: A travel kit that includes a face mask, biodegradable garbage bags, 1.7-ounce hand sanitizer, garbage bags, five sanitizing wipes and a toilet seat cover. It’s the ultimate road trip must-have.
