Talking about your feelings can be difficult, but this adorable octopus can help you out along the way.

A reversible octopus plushie is going viral on TikTok for not only being cute as can be but for helping people express their emotions. TeeTurtle’s Reversible Octopus Plushie is a stuffed toy with two sides, one happy side and one angry side. Do you feel joyful? Flip it to the smiling side. Find yourself feeling a little grim? Well, there’s a frowning side for that.

The plush toy recently went viral on TikTok, with videos of the little guy gaining more than 500,000 likes. It’s currently the No. 1 best seller in the Toys & Games category on Amazon, likely due to its TikTok popularity.  Shoppers use the plushie as an emotional tool to help them express emotions without saying a word to their partners and loved ones.

“I got this gift for my girlfriend because I, as many men do, find it quite difficult to read her attitude and mood,” one reviewer writes. “I told her that if she’s in a bad mood and wants to make sure I reach out to talk about it, this would be a sure sign, and I’ll make sure to avoid bringing my stress on her or save it for later.”

“I originally bought this because it was so cute, and I wanted to let my boyfriend know if I was in a good mood or not without having to talk to him,” one buyer wrote. “Well, it’s turned out to be a fantastic emotional tool for my 4-year-old daughter. She saw how I was using it to show what emotion I was feeling, and now ‘Jelly’ is her favorite stuffed animal. She uses him to show when she needs her alone time, when she needs a break from talking or when she’s just plain mad.”

This unassuming stuffed toy may actually be the emotional support you need — or at least a cute-as-can-be addition to your apartment.
