It’s been a wild year and a half for Robyn DelMonte, the woman behind GirlBossTown.

After quitting her corporate job, DelMonte started posting about celebrities and pop culture on TikTok while waitressing and working at Anthropologie. Soon enough, some of her videos started to pop off, so she started to lean in. Ultimately, she built enough of a following that agents at UTA took notice and signed her, giving her the confidence to quit her job and build her brand full time. She was onto something.

Fast forward 18 months and DelMonte is the self-proclaimed agent of the internet. She’s TikTok’s go-to for celebrity branding, marketing and PR expertise, sharing her genius ideas around how the world’s most recognizable stars could better promote and brand themselves. She has created such a niche for herself that brands and celebs themselves have come calling, hiring her as a consultant and collaborator on campaigns.

For the latest episode of In The Know by Yahoo’s pop culture interview series We Should Talk, Robyn opened up about her early days as a professional content creator, what it’s been like interacting with some of the celebrities she talks about online, her outlook on being an influencer in 2023 and her thoughts on a variety of current pop-culture topics, including Taylor Swift’s recent breakup, those Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet rumors, and more.
