I’ve never been good about remembering to take my vitamins beyond the first week. But I had no problem remembering to take Sourse’s delicious chocolate vitamins. I finished two packs!

Sourse makes clean, plant-based vitamin-infused chocolates — and they are tasty. Why chocolate? According to the brand’s website, chocolate is a prebiotic that supports your microbiome and enhances your body’s ability to absorb nutrients. It offers five different chocolate vitamins for improving hair, nails, skin, energy, mood and focus.

Founded in 2020 by business partners and real-life couple Jenne Moore and Andrew Remlinger, Sarah Hyland joined the Sourse team in 2021 as the brand’s creative director and celebrity co-founder. Since joining, Hyland has given the packaging a revamp and helped launch its latest products: Beauty Bites and Mood Bites.

Beauty Bites support strong hair and nails thanks to biotin; Mood Bites feature vitamin D3 to support a healthy brain and immune system and saffron to boost serotonin levels and lower cortisol. According to Mood Bites’ product description, these vitamins could reduce stress and balance your mood in as little as two weeks.

I recently tried the Glow Bites and Hype Bites, as well as Beauty Bites, which support hair and nail health. I love a gel manicure but hate how brittle my nails are when I take it off. Beauty Bites have helped keep them strong.

Packed with 100% plant-based collagen and ceramides, the Glow Bites hydrate and plump skin (it claims to improve skin within two weeks). As a person obsessed with skin care, I like that these vitamins work from the inside out. The key ingredient here is the ceramides, which can help skin retain moisture and preserve your natural collagen and elastin, so skin is smoother and healthier looking.

The Hype Bites are one of Sourse’s original products and contain vitamin B12 that, according to the packaging, improves energy and helps you stay focused. Essentially, it’s a nootropic that supports brain function, and on days when I don’t feel like working, it helps me settle down and stay focused.

Of course, you should talk to your doctor before taking any supplement, especially if you regularly take other medications. But if you’re clear, all of the Sourse vitamins are available on the brand’s website and cost $34 for a two-pack. This includes 60 vitamins, which will last about a month if you take the recommended two daily. However, you can get a slight discount with a subscription — subscribe and get your vitamins for $29.90 per month.

If you can’t remember to take your vitamins or are looking for a better way to boost your health, Sourse is a great (and tasty) option.
