Mom writes secret message in piece of bread to warn husband about how she’s feeling: ‘Wait, this is brilliant’

A funny mom found the perfect way to communicate her feelings to her husband using an ordinary toaster and a piece of white bread — and TikTok loves it.

TikToker and foodie @foodplattermum often expresses herself through meals — but when she uploaded her communicative toast video, she went viral, gaining over 8 million views and nearly 1 million likes.

Now, much like the dad who got an alarming call from his daughter’s school after sending her in with the wrong lunch, this mom’s meal for her hubby is causing quite a stir online.

While we’ve seen unique communication methods go viral before — like the mom who got her daughter to clean her room with some strategically placed grains of black rice@foodplattermum‘s expressive toast might just take the proverbial cake.

And after seeing how much TikTok loved her bread memo, the food-connoisseur mom has since followed up with other “toast communication” videos — much to social media’s delight.

“Nothing says passive-aggressive adult more than cranky toast,” one TikToker user laughed in the comments.

“OMG, love it. I’m going to start putting smileys in my son’s toast,” wrote one mind-blown user.

“Wait, what… You still make his toast when you’re grumpy?” another user joked.

While @foodplattermum is clearly just having a laugh with her hubby, clear and honest communication is key for a healthy and happy relationship!

So whether you express yourself through letters, heart-to-heart conversations or a simple slice of bread, all that matters is that you and your partner connect regularly.
