Shopping Game Plan: Here’s what our editors are eyeing at the Sephora sale this spring

Our team is dedicated to finding and telling you more about the products and deals we love. If you love them too and decide to purchase through the links below, we may receive a commission. Pricing and availability are subject to change.

We love beauty here at In The Know. No, like, we really love beauty, and we write about it literally all the time. This is why the biannual Sephora Sale is basically our Super Bowl as shopping editors. And since the Sephora spring sale is coming up soon, we’re hardcore prepping our carts.

Since we’ve tried our fair share of beauty products between us and aren’t down with gatekeeping culture, we outlined our favorite beauty products we’re shopping at the Sephora spring sale as soon as it starts. Seriously, as soon as it starts.

Wait, what is the Sephora Sale?

Here’s the deal with the Sephora Sale: The Sephora Springs Saving Event is happening online and in stores for all Sephora Beauty Insider members (you can sign up for free!), and literally everything is on sale. Yes, everything. All you need to do is use the code SAVINGS at checkout.

Depending on your Beauty Insider status, there are different deals for different tiers, with Sephora Rouge members getting the most benefits. Here’s the breakdown:

ROUGE: Members of the highest Beauty Insider tier have first access to the sale and 20% off their purchase.

VIB: Members of the middle tier can shop Sephora products with a 15% discount.

INSIDER: The lowest beginner tier gets access to the Sephora Sale and a 10% discount off their entire purchase.

While that’s just the price breakdown across membership tiers, all Beauty Insider members can also take 30% off Sephora Collection products.

Make sense? No matter what your Sephora Beauty Insider status is, you’ve got to take advantage of these semiannual savings.

OK, so when is the Sephora Sale this year?

This year, the Sephora spring sale starts on April 14 and lasts through April 24. That’s 10 days of beauty-saving goodness to take advantage of.

Now that that’s all squared away, get your calendar alerts set, and bookmark these beauty-editor-approved goods to shop at the Sephora spring sale.

1. Tower 28 Beauty Bronzino Luminating Cream Bronzer, $20

“I’ll be restocking my favorite bronzer from Tower 28. I love the color it gives me and that it’s buildable. It’s also a little shimmery. That said, it’s not sparkly — it gives you just the right amount of dewy glow, like you’ve been chilling all day at the beach in the sun. It’s perfect.” Ellie Conley

2. Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber De-Tox Hydra-Gel Eye Patches, $55

Credit: Sephora

“These gel eye patches from Peter Thomas Roth are my end-all-be-all product in the morning, so I’ll definitely be restocking them. They’re great for dark circles and depuffing the under-eye area. I keep mine in the fridge, so they’re nice and cool when I put them on, and I always pack a pair or two for travel days.” Julia Webb

3. MAKEUP BY MARIO MoistureGlow Plumping Lip Color, $24

Credit: Sephora

“Makeup by Mario just dropped these new MoistureGlow Plumping Lip Colors, and I’m counting down the days until I can try them. This liquid lip color is super glossy and hydrating, which sounds perfect for me since I’m not a matte-lip fan. There are more than 10 plumping colors to choose from, but I have my eye on Soft Blush.” Julia Webb

4. Topicals High Roller Ingrown Hair Tonic with AHA and BHA, $26

Credit: Sephora

“There are only a handful of items I routinely repurchase without hesitation, and this is one of them. This is the only product that keeps my face smooth and blemish-free after I shave. I apply it right after washing my face and trimming my facial hair, and it keeps any ingrown hairs at bay.” Moriba Cummings

5. Maison Margiela REPLICA Beach Walk, $160

Credit: Sephora

“I packed a sample size of this summery REPLICA perfume on a tropical vacation with my now-fiancé last year. Recently, I popped into a Sephora and sprayed it on a tester and remembered just how much I loved it — and just how much fun I had on our trip. With notes of bergamot, heliotrope and coconut milk, I’m going to feel like an ocean goddess all summer long.” Sarah Weldon
