Woman ‘played’ by online fashion retailer: ‘Why, Shein, why?’

A woman bought an unusual pair of pants that were nearly the length of her entire body.

Sometimes you order things online, and they don’t exactly look like what you saw in the picture. When Brittany Enck ordered blue jeans from the popular online retailer Shein, they were not at all what she expected. She shared the bizarre bottoms on TikTok, where people enthusiastically roasted them.

“Five feet of pants for three feet of legs,” Enck wrote in the caption. “Shein played me.”

She said the pants looked a little long on the website, but Enck thought that would be ideal for her proportions.

“Buying pants for me is really hard because I’m little, but my legs are really long for how little my waist is, so pants are always too short on me,” she explained in the video.

She then held the jeans up in front of her. They went from her ankles up to her chin.

“They’re not too short!” Enck joked before trying the jeans on.

The Shein pants actually looked great on her up close. They fit her waist perfectly. But when she backed away from the camera, she revealed the legs of the pants fully covered her feet and then some. The pants almost looked like scuba diving flippers.

“I read the ad. They’re for ‘stacking,’ but they don’t come stacked, so I’m supposed to do this,” she said, rolling up her jeans. “But why? Why, Shein, why?”

Enck’s video racked up 2.8 million views. The commentary eagerly shared their input.

“You ordered from their Slenderman collection,” one person said

“You’ll grow into them,” another wrote

“Welcome to short girl problems,” someone added
