Every day, 12 people spill water on themselves while trying to multitask during lunch.
I made that up, but the SpillNot Drink Carrier wants to eliminate that from happening to anyone. I’m just skeptical that you really need a gadget to protect yourself from spills.

The SpillNot Drink Carrier is a weird-looking little contraption that uses “science” to accommodate mugs and bowls filled with food and liquid and avoid any spilling while you’re moving. Someone on Amazon even joked that if they ever wanted to drink coffee while trampolining, they could probably do it with this — that’s how powerful it is.
Naturally, I had to try out a series of stunts to know for sure whether this drink carrier earns its praise.

What I’ll do to test the SpillNot Drink Carrier
So this is how I’m going to actually test whether the SpillNot Drink Carrier is worth it. It’s a little less than $20, which is one of the cheaper kitchen gadgets on the market.
Here are my four scientifically backed (not really) tests:
- Can I eat a full meal standing up without spilling?
- Can I run up and down a flight of stairs without spilling?
- Can I easily transfer the drink from my coffee table to the couch without spilling?
- Can I swing my arm in a circle — flipping the drink upside down — without spilling?
If the SpillNot Drink Carrier can accomplish all four feats, then yes, this is a pretty impressive gadget.
If I spill water all over my apartment carpet? Well, then I should’ve known better.
In all honesty, this is not a bad product. In fact, the SpillNot Drink Carrier is probably a great tool for someone with limb differences to try out.
As for my four experiments, the drink carrier was successful in all of them — except for some spillage on the stairs. But, really, how often am I running up and down a staircase with a full glass of water?
