Starbucks will now allow employees to wear one facial piercing “no larger than the size of a dime.”
The previous piercing policy is stated as:
“Keep earrings small or moderately sized. No more than two earrings per ear. Small ear gauges are allowed. A small nose stud is allowed (no septum piercings or rings). No other pierced jewelry or body adornments are allowed, including tongue studs.”
The current dress code also forbids face and neck tattoos, nail polish and colored hats.
Business Insider also reported that the new dress code will be limited to one-page as opposed to the current 15-page handbook.
