Springtime is almost here, and nothing rings in the warmer weather like Starbucks‘ new round of seasonal iced drinks.
There’s just something about switching from hot drinks to iced ones that help kiss those gloomy winter blues away. The company debuted its latest coffee concoctions on March 1. The Ice Toasted Vanilla Oatmilk Shaken Espresso is officially available at all Starbucks stores. Meanwhile, Starbucks’ first energy drink, BAYA Energy, will debut at select stores this month.
The Iced Toasted Vanilla Oatmilk Shaken Espresso is the latest addition to the franchise’s line of Iced Shaken Espresso drinks that debuted around the same time last year in 2021.
According to Starbucks, the beverages are made with espresso, then “shaken, chilled and mellowed with sweetness and a touch of milk.” The Iced Toasted Vanilla drink is prepared with Starbucks Blonde Espresso and hints of caramelized vanilla, shaken with ice and topped with oat milk. It’s certainly a new contender for your regular iced coffee.
Starbucks BAYA Energy is also here to add some pep to your step. The canned drink is crafted from naturally derived caffeine from the coffee fruit. It’s available in three flavors: Mango Guava, Raspberry Lime and Pineapple Passionfruit.
Meanwhile, fans of the Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso and Iced Chocolate Almondmilk Shaken Espresso should rejoice. Starbucks added the two favorites to its year-round permanent menu in U.S. stores.
