The teddy trend is in full force this season. But one complaint of the trend are that fuzzy jackets, sweatshirts and pants can feel, well, a little shapeless.

It’s totally on-trend if you want to toss on a long teddy coat over your matching sweats or a bodysuit and jeans. But if you want a little more shape and flair, the moto style (also called the biker or aviator style) is the way to go.

A teddy moto jacket is generally a bit cropped — compared to other teddy-style coats — and has oversized lapels. Some have zippers, pockets and other embellishments. And usually, they’re meant to be worn open. So, a teddy moto coat doesn’t totally hide your outfit, but rather adds to it.

Of course, the style might not be your go-to jacket on a snowy winter day. But wear it on the weekend to dinner with friends or drape it over your shoulders with a fitted turtleneck when the temperatures slightly rise. The teddy moto jacket is also a great transitional piece to wear as harsh winter months fade and sunny spring days begin.

These particular teddy moto jackets — available in a few price points — are fuzzy, comfy, warm and definitely on-trend.
