The Summer I Turned Pretty is the latest YA novel to be turned into a series, and even though it premiered just last week on Prime Video, it’s already a hit.

Based on the book by Jenny Han, the series follows teenager Isabel “Belly” Conklin as she heads to Cousins Beach to spend another summer with her mom, older brother and the Fisher family. Jeremiah and Conrad Fisher are brothers and have been everything from confidantes to crushes for Belly over the years, but this summer is different.

Without spoiling anything, this series is a sweet, funny and emotional story about first loves, family and a complicated love triangle.
