These roll-up recipes are creative, fun and easy

TikTok chefs are putting a creative spin on classic dishes by turning them into roll-ups. You can transform your breakfast by making a sweet French toast roll-up, make yourself a healthy snack with a veggie roll-up, or even upgrade your pasta night with a lasagna roll-up. Here are five of the most creative roll-up recipes on TikTok

1. Spicy lasagna roll-ups

These spicy lasagna roll-ups transform traditional lasagna into a crunchy handheld snack! To make them, spread ricotta and pasta sauce onto sheets of cooked lasagna. Then, add a cocktail sausage and a Thai chili pepper at one end. Carefully roll up the lasagna sheet. Then place it upright onto a baking sheet, top it with cheese, and bake until it’s golden brown and crispy!

2. Bacon-wrapped Buffalo chicken roll-ups

For a truly decadent dinner, try these grilled Buffalo chicken roll-ups! To make them, cut a chicken breast in half and pound it out until it flattens. Then, season the chicken with Buffalo ranch spices, place a piece of mozzarella cheese on top, and roll the chicken up. Next, wrap uncooked bacon around the chicken, place skewers through the chicken to keep everything together, and toss it on the grill. Once the chicken is cooked, top with a sauce made out of Buffalo sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic paste, butter and spices.

3. French toast roll-ups

These Nutella-stuffed French toast roll-ups make the perfect breakfast for anyone with a sweet tooth. Start by rolling out a slice of bread until it is flat. Then spread on Nutella, and roll the bread up tightly. Next, mix eggs, milk, sugar and vanilla extract in a bowl. Dip your French toast rolls into the egg mixture, cook them in a pan until they turn golden brown. Then coat in cinnamon sugar, and enjoy!

4. Vegan cucumber roll-ups

These veggie-packed vegan cucumber roll-ups are so healthy and delicious! Start by using a vegetable peeler to thinly slice a cucumber. Line the cucumber slices up on a piece of parchment paper so that they overlap a bit. Then spread on hummus. Finally, add sautéed mushrooms, onions and raw bell pepper to the cucumber, and roll it up!

5. Pizza roll-ups

These pizza roll-ups make the perfect snack for kids and adults alike. To make them, roll out a sheet of pastry dough. Then spread on a layer of pasta sauce. Add some Italian spices, grated parmesan, shredded mozzarella and pepperoni, then roll the pastry dough up. Cut the rolled dough into bite-size pieces. Then place on a baking sheet, and bake until golden brown.
