This 8,000-square-foot property with a mini-golf course is the perfect getaway

The Cave Creek home in Arizona is the ideal dream vacation home for adults and kids. Owner John Bigelow built the home where he and his family resided for years. But when he and his wife wanted to live closer to their kids’ schools, they converted it into a vacation house.

“The home has seven bedrooms, six bathrooms, 7,800-livable-square-feet in the main house,” Bigelow told In The Know. “Our dream home evolved from a place where we lived to a dream vacation home for everybody to experience.”

Inside the main house, there’s billiards, table football and an entire movie theater room. The master bedroom has a two-sided fireplace that’s visible from the room and the master bathroom’s jacuzzi tub. Every bedroom has its own private patio, double sinks and a walk-in closet.

But what guests really love is the property’s outdoor space. It’s decked out with three horseshoe pits, a gas firepit, a massive pool with a water slide, a swim-up bar and an in-ground kitchen. Not too shabby! However, that’s only one side of the exterior. There’s also frisbee golf, a trampoline, a playground, a basketball court, a volleyball court, shuffleboard, mini-golf course and hopscotch.

“I think the guests love the property and staying here because of the open concept of it,” Bigelow told In The Know. “People can enjoy cooking and eating together and watching movies. Everybody being together.”
