Sounds like the ultimate dream job.
CBD company Spruce wants to pay someone $1,000 to binge-watch movies about dogs. The offer comes just in time for National Pet Month. But it’s of course to promote the company’s dog-friendly, lab-grade CBD oil.
The dog-adoring team at Spruce is enlisting one lucky canine lover to watch 10 classic dog films, according to a press release. The winner will have to compare them to each other, identify trends in relationships, plot, dialogue and characters, amongst other assignments. They will also have to document the project on social media.
Applicants must have strong attention to detail, the availability to binge-watch 10 movies within a month and active Twitter and Facebook accounts. The recipient will select 10 movies from a list of 15, including “Turner and Hooch,” “Snow Dogs” and “The Shaggy Dog.” If available, the person can choose between the original or any reboots.
The grand prize also includes a year-long Disney Plus subscription, a 3-month BarkBox subscription and a gift package of Spruce’s dog CBD oil. Applications close May 29 and a winner will be selected by June 12.
Here’s the full list of possible films:
- “101 Dalmatians”
- “Eight Below”
- “Turner and Hooch”

- “Snow Dogs”
- “Super Buddies”
