All quarantine, I’ve been trying to swap coffee for tea. The thing that helped me cut down my caffeine intake by a lot? Stumbling upon the best — in my opinion, of course — DavidsTea flavor.

The “best” DavidsTea flavor in question is the brand’s Forever Nuts blend, which is made with toasted nuts and sweet apples. While the brand describes it as “an apple crumble with a nut topping,” I believe otherwise. Not only does the tea taste like the Apple Jacks cereal I was raised on, but the tea bag even turns the hot water pink.

Typically, I’m not a big tea drinker. However, I sip on this flavor nonstop on really cold days in New York. It’s great because it’s sweet without any added sugar, honey or sweetener. The flavor also has a hint of cinnamon, and it’s entirely caffeine-free. The reason it turns pink? The blend includes beetroot!

It should be no surprise that this blend is an all-time best seller for DavidsTea. The flavor has a rating of 4.8 stars on the DavidsTea website and 250+ reviews from shoppers. One customer explained how the flavors “combine into one cozy cup of tea.”

“This is one of my very favorites,” they wrote. “The almond taste is undeniable, but apple and cinnamon are just as present and it all combines into one cozy cup of tea. I drink this often, both as hot and iced, and it’s delicious either way, no sweetener needed. It’s a lovely unexpected shade of pink as well.”

Another shopper who left five stars on the blend said the tea smells like their childhood breakfast cereal.

“Not what I expected,” the shopper wrote. “Smells like the breakfast cereal of my childhood, but the color in the mug is red! I do love beets, but the flavor is not very beet-like. The taste is hard to describe. A nice afternoon cup for curling up on a cold day.”

Whether you’re in need of a new way to meet your daily water consumption goal or looking for a new tea flavor, this one will do you right.
