TikTok users are freaking their significant others out for the latest viral challenge

When you’re stuck inside all of the time, it can be fun to keep your significant other on their toes with a harmless prank.

If you’re single, it’s possibly even more fun to see typically happy couples endure an awkward moment.

This viral challenge doesn’t involve any planning at all — simply go up to your unsuspecting partner (or even a roommate or close friend) and tell them, “I feel like you could’ve been nicer to me today.”

TikTok users have been sharing their responses, which vary widely, to say the least.

Some, like the boyfriend featured in user okmidd’s video, react with genuine horror.

“You could see the hurt in his eyes when he thought you were upset,” one commenter wrote.

User gennalmarie’s husband questioned her reasoning at first, then apologized — and even brought it in for a hug.

“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to be mean to you at all,” he said in the video before standing up.

Others were quick to defend themselves, like user lindakay123’s husband, who responded with, “I was nice to you yesterday.”

“Mans got a point,” a commenter joked.

User georgieandzac’s significant other immediately burst out laughing and said, “I’ve only seen you for like three hours today.”
