TikTokers share delicious vegan holiday recipes

For vegans hosting holiday meals, the pressure is on to make a feast that’s both plant-based and delicious. Luckily, there’s an endless number of tasty vegan holiday recipes on TikTok. From entrees to appetizers to desserts, here are five scrumptious vegan holiday recipes that won’t have you or your guests missing the meat, eggs or milk!

1. Vegan Christmas beef Wellington

A typically meaty dish, this vegan beef Wellington recipe raises the stakes by removing the steak! To make the meatless “meat-y” center, TikToker @that.veganbabe cooks up onions, carrots, celery and mushrooms with garlic and other spices. She then adds lentils, walnuts and breadcrumbs for texture and finishes off with soy sauce, tomato paste, salt and pepper. Once the mixture has cooled, she wraps it up in a vegan pastry dough and bakes it.

2. Vegan deep-fried mashed potato balls

Roll out these delicious vegan deep-fried mashed potato balls for the holidays! First, load up some mashed potatoes with cranberries, vegan cheese, chives and heaps of savory seasonings and spices. Batter the potato balls, and roll them in a vegan flour mixture. Then fry ‘em up to golden perfection! These go great with a vegan dipping sauce of your choice.

3. Vegan spinach and artichoke dip crescent wreaths

This vegan holiday finger food is so easy to make! Just blend up a can of kidney beans, vegan cream cheese, artichoke hearts, spinach, spices and vegetable broth. Make wreaths out of pastry dough, and place your vegan spinach and artichoke dip filling in the center of each one. Bake your vegan wreaths for about 12 minutes, and then they’re ready to serve.

You won’t even notice that this healthy, creamy vegan cheesecake is dairy-free! The chef uses a cashew-based recipe to create the cheesecake and then makes a plant-based gingerbread cookie dough base. She places the gingerbread cookie dough into a muffin tin to create small crusts before topping it with the cashew cream filling. After 30 minutes in the freezer, these bite-size vegan cheesecakes are ready to hit the dessert tray!

5. Vegan eggnog French toast

When it comes to holiday recipes, you can’t forget about breakfast! This healthy, vegan French toast will be a morning holiday hit! First, mix vegan eggnog with ground flaxseed, maple syrup and vanilla. Then soak your bread in the liquid mixture. Fry up your bread, and once it’s nice and crispy, plate and top with maple syrup and crushed almonds.
