The video begins with a shot of Maddy sitting in a car seat in the back of the family’s car. She is wearing a light pink shirt and holding a pink toy car in her hands. From off screen, Vikki asks Maddy, “Are you going to hold me?”

A caption reads, “When your toddler was obviously born an adult!”

Maddy looks up at her mom in confusion for a moment before replying, “I’m not gonna hold you.”

The toddler looks down as she ponders the question. “Hold you?” she asks. “Like actually, really hold you?”

Maddy shakes her head at her mom, looking just a little bit smug. “No, I can’t really hold you,” she explains. “I’m a big kid. I’m a baby. Babies don’t pick up moms.”

Maddy continues to shake her head as she spells things out for her mom. “Or big kids,” she explains. “They don’t pick up moms. They’re little!”

The video ends with Maddy giving her mom a skeptical look.

Viewers couldn’t get enough of the precocious toddler and her infallible logic!

“I mean, she’s not wrong,” one viewer wrote.

“Her conversation skills are big! She knew exactly what her point was! Way too cute!” another viewer commented.

“There will be no winning reasoning with her when she’s older, cause you already lost,” wrote another TikToker.

Maddy certainly is honing her argument skills from a young age!
