Mom catches toddler red-handed smuggling jam packets out of restaurant

This TikTok parent caught her daughter stealing packets of jam from a restaurant!

Sierra (@littlemamalayhew) is a mom and TikToker who shares heartfelt and sometimes funny videos about her four kids. In a recent video, Sierra showed off her 2-year-old daughter’s mischievous streak, sharing the moment she discovered the toddler had stolen several packets of jam from a restaurant! The hilarious video racked up more than a million views and showed how creative toddlers can be when they want a sweet treat!

The video begins with a shot of the 2-year-old dozing in a car seat in the back of Sierra’s car. The toddler wears a bright yellow shirt and pink leggings and is sleeping peacefully with her head resting against her chest. “My 2-year-old is asleep,” Sierra writes. “And I see this when I start to get her out.”

Sierra moves the camera forward, focusing it on the toddler’s legs. At first, it’s unclear what Sierra is trying to show. But then the mom zooms in, showing that there is a small rectangular shape making an indentation in the toddler’s pink leggings. Sierra moves the camera to her other leg, showing that it, too, has something held by the legging.

Sierra pulls up the legging to see what the toddler is hiding. She reveals a small plastic container. Turning the container over, Sierra shows that it is a packet of strawberry jam!

“She smuggled these from the restaurant we ate breakfast at,” Sierra writes in a caption. Then, she removes the other packet of strawberry jam from the toddler’s other leg.

Sierra’s video had TikToker’s cracking up!

“She was saving it for later!” one viewer commented.

“I bet she was so mad when she woke up and they were gone,” another TikToker wrote.

“When my daughter was this age, she took a box of 500 business cards from a car salesman,” one parent recalled.

Sierra’s toddler certainly chose a creative hiding place for her stolen snack
