A mischievous little girl’s scheme to sneak some Cheetos backfired in this viral TikTok.
Sisters Dakota and Dylan are known as the @snackbandits on TikTok, where they have over 1.5 million followers — and, boy, do the girls live up to their nickname. Their account got started after their dad Ja’Rell began recording them stealing snacks because their mom didn’t believe it.
While they never stopped sneaking treats, Ja’Rell couldn’t help his surprise when he captured toddler Dylan’s not-so-clever plan.
Ja’Rell explained that he saw Dylan walk over to the fridge, and then he “was on the game.”
“Dylan, get out of the fridge,” he said, walking toward her.
When he followed her into the kitchen, the fridge door was wide open, but Dylan was nowhere to be found. There was, however, some evidence. A massive pile of Cheetos and the empty bag were on the floor in front of a small cabinet with a clearly busted childproof lock.
“What the? Dylan, open it. Dylan,” Ja’Rell said.
And just like that, the cupboard door flew open. Dylan was nestled inside, eating the Cheetos she had put in a small bowl. She took one look at dad and closed the door.
The adorable video racked up 9 million views and 1 million likes on TikTok.
“When he said ‘open it,’ I was so confused. Then, when she was in there, I died,” a person commented.
“This is one of those parent moments where you wanna be mad but just can’t!” someone wrote.
“She closed the door like you asked to speak to her regarding her car’s extended warranty,” another joked.
