Tracee Ellis Ross is a woman of many talents: She’s the funny mom on ABC’s “Blackish,” the founder of textured haircare brand Pattern and always a top contender on the red carpet.

Well, her style slays are paying off because Ross is set to receive the Fashion Icon of 2020 Award at the E! People’s Choice Awards on Nov. 15. She’s also the first Black woman and the third recipient to receive the Fashion Icon Award, following Gwen Stefani and Victoria Beckham.

“Tracee Ellis Ross’ style is transcendent,” Jen Neal, general manager of E! News, Live Events & Lifestyle Digital, told WWD. “Her influence in the entertainment and fashion spaces are incomparable, and we are delighted to honor her with the Fashion Icon Award.”

Honestly, this isn’t a surprise to those who have followed Ross’ fashion-forward looks for years. Whether experimenting with unique silhouettes and shapes on the red carpet or adamantly deciding to wear all Black designers while hosting an awards show, Ross knows how to make a statement.

But fashion isn’t the only place Ross has found success. Despite launching in the year as the COVID-19 pandemic, Pattern more than doubled its sales targets in its first year, according to WWD. The brand has also been tracking 300 percent ahead of financial projections just in these last six months alone. Talk about boss moves.

So, why not hop on board? Below, we’ve rounded up some of our favorite Pattern products you can grab right now. Major congrats to Tracee Ellis Ross on her Fashion Icon Award — and for always setting the bar high, high, high!
