Best friends document everything that went wrong during Europe trip

Two best friends shared their traveling woes — and TikTok is offering its sympathies.

Sometimes, life comes at you fast and you’re just caught up in a series of unfortunate events. TikToker @simplyyykatie and her best friend had a streak of bad luck as they attempted to backpack through Europe.

The adventure turned out to be a slew of demoralizing headaches and legal fines. But at least they had each other. The influencer shared an inventory of the pair’s “problems” abroad.

One of their Airbnbs allegedly “didn’t exist” when they showed up. Their backpacks were so heavy they fell over enough times they had bruises.

Another trouble occurred when they forgot to buy tickets for a sold-out train and had to sleep on a bench. They later got kicked off a different train in Vienna, got stranded and reached a “breaking point.”

But the bad news wasn’t over. Their hostel in Brussels canceled their reservation without telling them and every other place was booked. Then they were robbed in Rome.

All of this was in addition to the constant fines they received because they didn’t know how to book train seats.

The video racked up 11.6 million views and 1.3 million likes on TikTok.

“The fact that I just know you guys must have been so sleep-deprived while all of this was happening also,” a person commented.

“That sounds like many unforgettable memories were made!” a user said

“This is absolutely ‘If we don’t laugh, we won’t stop crying’ vibes,” another joked

“Same exact thing happened to me and my bestie. No joke got my passport stolen in Rome too,” a TikToker replied

“This would make a perfect buddy comedy,” someone added
