It’s hard to find a cute pair of snow boots. Of course, you’re buying them because you want to keep your feet warm and dry in the winter weather, but you shouldn’t have to sacrifice style for function. This year, it seems like the polarizing Moon Boots are all over TikTok and IG. However, I decided to go a slightly more rugged route and purchased UGG’s Adiroam Hiker boots — and I’m so glad I did.

If you like them, be like me and get them on sale. The boots are currently 30% off on UGG’s website. However, if you do, expect loads of compliments. I recently wore them on a ski trip to Vermont, and people kept asking me where I got them.

I’ve been wearing UGG boots since sixth grade — I don’t care how ugly people may think they are. They are some of the warmest, comfiest shoes I’ve worn. Although I’ve always had classic suede and wool styles, this year I knew I had to get more of an all-weather boot since I’d be traveling to snowier areas.

The Adiroam Hiker Boots are waterproof, offer awesome traction and, according to the product description, are weather-rated to temperatures as low as minus 23.8 degrees Fahrenheit. They’re also durable, thanks to their non-marking rubber outsole. But while they look pretty heavy-duty on the outside, the interior features UGG’s cloudlike sherpa lining so they’re just as comfy as the brand’s classic boots.

The boots come in two color options: Black or chestnut. The black features a white rubber outsole, and the chestnut has a black rubber outsole. Both are cute, but the black is currently on sale.

I like to wear mine with my ski pants on my way to the slopes and with leggings for aprés ski at the bottom of the mountain. However, you could wear these boots for any snowy situation and feel confident that your feet will be warm and you won’t slip or slide.

Maybe they’re for you, maybe they’re not — either way, these boots are personally my favorite winter purchase.
