First comes Black Friday, then comes Cyber Monday — and it’s all followed by Giving Tuesday. The annual movement, which falls on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, is an amazing way to give back while shopping your favorite brands.

One brand participating on Giving Tuesday this year is Universal Standard. The fashion line, known for revolutionizing plus-size fashion, is letting it’s shoppers support two great causes while scooping up some incredible styles.

For Dec. 1, ten percent of the brand’s profits will be going to the Black Women’s Health Imperative. The non-profit works to target the “most pressing health issues that affect Black women in the U.S. through investments in evidence-based strategies, bold programs and advocacy outreach on health policies.”

Additionally, Universal Standard is teaming up with Cotton Incorporated’s Blue Jeans Go Green denim recycling program for their Denim Drive now through Dec. 6. Whether you’re cleaning out your closet or want to swap out an old pair of jeans for a new one, when you recycle a pair of jean (no matter the brand) with the program, you can snag a brand new Universal Standard jeans for just $25.

“This effort has helped us collect over 23,000 pairs of jeans for Cotton Incorporated’s Blue Jeans Go Green denim recycling program since 2017. The old denim is used to create much-needed denim insulation. Every year, a portion of this denim insulation is contributed to building efforts in communities across the country,” the brand explained of the program.
