A veterinarian became determined to comfort his nervous patient — no matter what it took.
Dr. Thomas Hamilton documents his time caring for animals to over 3 million TikTok followers.
One day, Dr. Hamilton became tasked with treating a very anxious dog. The poor pup looked like he was shaking in his figurative boots as it hid in the corner. But the vet knew exactly how to earn the canine’s trust.
“Patience with the patient,” he wrote in the caption.
The dog cowered in the corner of the vet’s office, looking totally frightened. Dr. Hamilton did everything he could to lure him out. The doc talked to the dog softly. He got on the ground and kissed the dog on the nose.
He left trails of treats to get him to come out of the corner. By the end, the dog was at ease and ready to cuddle with Hamilton, who then gave the animal a massage.
The touching video received a whopping 51.2 million views on TikTok.
“That’s how I need people to approach me too,” a user joked.
“This is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen,” another said.
“This is the cutest thing ever. He’s so precious,” someone added.
