JoJo Siwa is going public with her new girlfriend Avery Cyrus (no, not from that Cyrus family).
The couple went TikTok official with a video on Sept. 13. The young couple was pictured kissing in a photo booth at Chuck E. Cheese. Then Siwa and Cyrus made their first red carpet appearance together at the Los Angeles premiere of Alanis Morisette’s Jagged Little Pill musical. Now everyone is dying to know more about Cyrus.
Who is Avery Cyrus?
Born Avery Blanchard on May 23, 2000, in Colleyville, Texas, Cyrus identifies as bisexual. She started posting on TikTok in 2019 and quickly became a major voice in the LGBTQ community on the app. She currently has 8 million followers on TikTok.
She uses her platform to share her pride
Like the time she made a pride skateboard with the help of her beloved father.
“My pride is how I’ve learned to be super comfortable in my own skin because growing up, I was weird and gay and super tomboyish,” Cyrus told LATV Queer.

Despite borrowing the family’s last name for her TikTok identity, Cyrus isn’t related to Miley. However, she may have a little crush on the pop star.
Cyrus and Siwa’s romance has been budding for a while
They’ve only made things official now, but back in August Siwa told America’s Got Talent that she had known Cyrus for six months already.
