Workaholic struggles to strike a balance between work and love

Welcome to the Love Hotline! Drag queens Jujubee and Thorgy Thor are answering your burning questions about navigating the world of dating. Whether it be over video chat or good old-fashioned letters, your two favorite queens have got you covered with their entertaining “expert” advice!

For caller Johnny, his demanding job always comes first. The problem is, not every person he dates understands that.

“How do you deal with guys that don’t respect that career comes first?” Johnny asks Jujubee and Thorgy Thor.

“Isn’t that just, like, the age old questions?” Thorgy asks. “People have to fit into your life.”

“Try online dating,” Jujubee suggests. Online dating allows more flexibility to work around schedules and offers the ability to get through the small talk over messaging rather than in-person.

“I know, sometimes it’s hard because you don’t know if those people are real behind the screens,” Johnny laments.

In reality, when it comes to juggling both a hectic work schedule and a love life, online dating is a great and easy way to ease the potential future partner into it. Plus, if all goes wrong, like Jujubee points out, you can always block them and end it right then and there.
