The Kardashians may be known for their epic, black-and-white photo-booth party pics, but you can now be known for your own Polaroid photo-booth prints. Yes, it’s true, Polaroid now makes a photo booth that you can hang on the wall for taking pictures at home. It’s great for summer parties, girls’ nights and more.
The Polaroid Photobooth by Arcarde1up is basically like one of the brand’s instant cameras, with a few extra fun features. First of all, it has a camera for taking photos, and it can be hung up on a wall or a door or stood up on a table. As you would expect from Polaroid, the photo booth will instantly print your photos when you’re done. And if you don’t want to carry your printed photos around, there’s a “quick share” feature that generates a QR code for sharing to any smartphone. But that’s not all.
The photo booth has a 10-inch touchscreen monitor where you can add filters, stickers, frames, borders and text. You can even use the screen to draw on your photos and use some augmented reality features.
Polaroid Photobooth by Arcarde1up, $349.99
The photo booth has 16GB of storage, but if you’re worried about filling that up fast, you can also insert a micro SD memory card for transferring to your computer and elsewhere.
Overall, the device is about 12 pounds and around 27 inches tall by 19 inches wide. It’s a good size but still small enough for hanging on a wall out of the way.
The Polaroid Photobooth will put you back about $350 at Best Buy. But, you’re getting a camera, a printer and an LED screen for making edits, which is kind of like a tablet. Considering how much it costs to hire a photo booth operator for an event (they usually start around $300 per hour), this is a great deal and just as much fun.
The Polaroid Photobooth seriously is the best party starter and perfect for post-COVID summer events with friends. Think: graduation parties, wedding rehearsal dinners, backyard barbecues. You can make new memories and take pictures that will last forever, printed out or saved to your phone.
